Suspended between sky and city, Convivium with Lapis is conceived as a precise domestic architecture. Material, light and spatial continuity shape an open setting where preparation and conviviality exist in balance.

Antonio Citterio explores the kitchen as an increasingly open space connected to dining. The Lapis table extends the language of the Convivium island, creating continuity between functions and encouraging informal moments of interaction.

The layout centres on the island and a wall system with folding doors. Bronze PVD steel, polished Calacatta Gold marble and fumé oak create a refined, coherent material palette.

The island as focal point

The Calacatta Gold marble top is carved to preserve a balanced vein pattern at the table junction. Bronze details, integrated sink and tap, and light oak Jens stools complete the composition.

The quality of the project lies in dissolving boundaries between function, interaction and landscape.
